Node js version to be used is no specified so I used node v16.3.0.

npm install

Results in the following error:

Intalling node-gyp didn't help.

What dependency am I missing?

What branch of the repository did you use? FDP client used to use node 8 until recently. It uses node 16 with the develop branch, so it should work.
