Public feeds API do not allow for the same flexibility as the feeds API and other APIs available to authenticated users.

  • Tags and tagging APIs should be public, just like the public feeds API.
  • Public feeds should be able to be searched for by anonymous users
  • Plugin instances belonging to public feeds should be able to be searched for by anonymous users
  • Public feeds not owned by you are not returned by api/v1/ (which is an API design inconsistency with how feeds shared with you but not created by you do show up from api/v1/)
  • api/v1/files/cannot be accessed by anonymous users. It should be, just like api/v1/filebrowser/
