Hello,

First of all congratulations for this project, full of upgrades and options, it's nice.

I've looked many times into the ChartNew.js file and over the documentation, and i can't find how we can setup a default width for bar.

In many of my charts values in datasets are too different, like i got one value with "100 000" and one other with "1 000 000 000 000 000", so it's very hard to "mouseover" the bar to see the annotate value attached because the bar for the value "100 000" is very small (and, for some reason, i don't want to display her directly in the chart).

I think it could be great if we can set a default width, like 5% (or 100px or xxx) for a bar value. Any way that you could add this option? If you can't or don't want, can you tell me where i've to look in the ChartNew file (where the Bar width is calculated) ?

Best regards,

Hi,

Thanks for using ChartNew.js.

I don't really understand what you want. Can you attach a sample graph to the issue and explain more deeply what you want ?

For chart with huge scale differences, you should use logarithmic axis (option "logarithmic : true", Logarithmic axis are not easy to read, but are preferable in your case. The option "logarithmic" is available for Bar and Line charts (not for StackedBar).

Regards,
François

PS : if you prefer, you can reach me by mail (my mail address can be found in the code of ChartNew.js).
