Is your request related to a problem you have?

We want to be able to influence the logging produced by the KafkaFlow Retry extension, in order to reduce verbosity.

Describe the solution you'd like

No solution in particular, leaving the door open to consider during the implementation the best course of action. We can change the level of particular logs or disable specific logging. To be evaluated later.

Are you able to help bring it to life and contribute with a Pull Request?

Yes

We have discussed this internally, and we want to:

  • Review the verbosity of logs already done.
  • Add additional logs where it makes sense.

I would especially appreciate being able to change the log level from Error to Warning when an exception is captured. That's actually what I was expecting: warnings for retries and Errors for definite failures (i.e. all attempts failed).
