When I move any window over PuTTYTray, a one pixel wide region around the window is not redrawn when I switch back to the PuTTYTray window. Example:
The problem is present in the version I downloaded a couple of years ago and is still present in the current version, p0.67-t029.
Other possibly relevant details:
Windows 7 is running as a VM.
I am using xfreerdp to connect to the VM.
Another, similarly themed window for a different application within the same session does not have the same redraw issue (Console2).
PuTTY 0.67 and 0.68 have the same issue, but, Simon doesn't have a publicly accessible bug tracker that I could comment on directly. That being said, he has a list of "known issues" on his "wishlist" page, and checking that, I found this similar 12-year-old (!) known issue here: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/wishlist/win-redraw.html
If you think I should be reporting this directly against PuTTY instead of (or as well as) here, let me know. I don't use Simon's version, though, and find his bug reporting method awkward to deal with.
Thanks,
Ben
