Which kind of docs are you thinking? Perhaps something that could be hosted on readthedocs.io?

@edsu , did just that: warcdb.readthedocs.io / warcdb.tselai.com

As for content docs/index.md is a symlink README.md forks fine for now. Once we have more content we can split to md files etc.
