I get it that it can be a pain to set up this extension. Maybe I can help you if you can give me more info about your setup:

• example of a test .c file name + path, relative to the workspace root
• what is the make command you would run to build the test executable for that .c file
• where do you expect to run that make command relative to the workspace root
• what command would you use to run that executable
• any extra argument that should be passed to any of the above commands?
