The current design has a boost-converter, upgrading to buck/boost would give the following
Pro's:
Total freedom in generator - battery combination. The voltage of each one does not have to be higher or lower of the other.
Contra's:
Extra Arduino pin and code needed to switch between buck/boost
Is there a dead zone where Vgen=Vbattery where neither buck or boost can be applied?
