Hi Everyone,

I guess its really sad to be announcing this, but given the viability for maintaining this project especially all the original core developers having left uni and no access to echo360, I guess its time to close down this project.

Can't you just hand over this project to someone else?

No, especially given the nature of the internet, it is highly unlikely that we're able to. Especially people can release malicious versions of geckoDM. Which we don't want to.

Will the code still be available?

Yes, the code will still be available in this GitHub repo. So feel free to fork, modify and load unpackaged versions into your own chrome but at you own risk.

Will the extension still be available on the Chrome Web Store?

Yes. The extension will be available.

On that note anything not released under "The GeckoDM Team" is unofficial and not supported by us.
