I tend to listen to audiobooks while I'm driving, and I use bookmarks a lot. And while I am driving I of course also need my navigation app. Hence I want to resize my audiobook player to the lower part of the screen, so that I can see the navigation well, and at the same time be able to make bookmarks.
In android I have enabled the developer option to force all apps into shared screen, even when they don't support it. This usually works fine, and it does work with PlayBook.
However the problem is, that the book cover image pushes the control buttons to the right side of my screen, and the buttons become very small.
What I would wish for is that the cover image becomes very small (or disappears entirely) when I resize the app to 1/2 of the screen of my phone, and that it disappears completely when I resize the app to 1/4 of the screen.
I do want to resize it to the bottom quarter of the screen, because only when the navigation app covers 3/4 of the screen will it be usable comfortably. No other audioplayer I know of is still usable at this size (1/4 of the screen), even though it would easily be doable: by just making the cover image disappear, moving the menu button in the same row where the play button is, and getting rid of the ⌄ button completely (it is not necessary, since androids back button will do the trick in any case).
