@MPritchy @cescalante73 I guess that's an accurate description of what the issue is with the view templates....i will have a look at it to see if we can make it better.

The idea would be to prevent them from even being able to access the View Templates dialog not just stop the changes from being synched to central.

Ok, here's the deal. We can block the Manage View Templates button, but that won't stop people from editing view templates via the properties dialog of the actual view.

I think that Jinsol had a good idea that it's best to try to catch any changes to the actual View Templates elements via the synch events. We could theoretically have both of these on, but that's double the annoyances for everyone involved. Ideas?
