Toolbar Add-In / Button - HyperLink to Project's BIM PxP #165
Comments
@cdilwTX so each project would have a different PxP. This would need to be customizable in some way so that we can fill it out per-project. Do we add a little input field on Mission Control's Project input page: Then people can access that resource from there. Comments. Thoughts? @HOKGroup/hok-addin-contributors |
@ksobon So the path would be placed there for the pxp.pdf, and that could be tied to a button in the Revit ribbon/ toolbar?...Goal: Whenever a user is in Revit wanting to quickly reference the PxP for that project, the pxp.pdf would open once the PxP button is selected in Revit... |
@cdilwTX that sounds correct. Anybody else? Comments? Thoughts? Is PxP something that you all feel like should be shared with the wider audience? |
It should definitely be shared, read and understood by the whole team ☺ Anything we can do to expose it easily is a plus. Or per past discussions, re-think where it lives (vs. a Word document).

Why not link to the actual .DOC? Not opposed to a PDF, just curious. Also, can the link be to Sharepoint? I've been moving PxP's to Teams for the same reason: Get people to access/update it more frequently. Seems to be working, and we're getting some traction on Teams use, so I'm placing more DT stuff there. |
Add a Plug-in/ Button for a direct hyperlink to access a Project's BIM PxP .pdf file in the Revit ribbon.
