On of the commits in #935 has disabled all input when the menu bar is open. At first I thought it was a bug but it seems intentional. However, myself and I'm sure others play with the bar visible for easier access and I don't think it's a good idea for default behavior as it really seems like a bug and made for some frustrating troubleshooting. Additionally, previewing sticks in the controller configuration is disabled for the same reason.
