I noticed that TLS connections to an IRC server don't work. Haven't had a chance to have a look at the code but wanted to make a note of it here.

Seems the use described in this repo is going to be deprecated. nodejs/node#36711
In favor of just using tls.connect(). I'm wondering what the best way to handle this in this repo would be.
