Should match's return type be void?

Shouldn't the return type of match, and by extension the MatchBlock type, be polymorphic?

type MatchBlock<R, T, F> = {
  Ok(value: T): R;
  Fail(failure: F): R;
}
// ...
match(block: MatchBlock<R, T, F>): R;
