HaXe is great, but the power of haxe: macros and preprocessor, causes making good IDEs difficult. Completion server helps, but other features like renaming, finding references or going to the definition still have problems. Extending funcionality from the "completion server" that could be renamed to "haxe services service" or something like that providing "finding references" for local variables, classes and methods, would enable refactors like renaming, finding references or going to definition in IDEs easy (flash develop, sublime text, ...). Also would open the doors to other, less important services, that could be created in the future, like extracting method, creating constructors, getters and so on.
