We launched in March 2013 with offices in Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia and Malaysia and have since raised a total of US$5.6 million in investor funding. Our Office in Bangkok

An office like no other! At HotelQuickly, we value personal freedom and we want our team to enjoy a work environment that is accepting of individual work styles, yet fun and inspiring. This is why we've got Pizza Fridays, flexible work hours, a lounge room and garden, no dress code or assigned desks, and an open pantry where the coffee is always hot and everyone is welcome.

Hiring process

  1. Apply by filling out an application form. We welcome applicants who are stars in their fields (ie. PHP, Nodejs, iOS, Android) are able to join us immediately at the Bangkok Office, and are dedicated to building a superb product.
  2. Send us your completed application form together with a brief motivation letter, your CV, with references (if any), links to your public profiles online and your portfolio. If we're interested, we'll contact you to schedule a Skype call.
  3. Join us for a first Skype call so we can get a better sense of who you are and how we can work together. Prepare for this call by downloading the HQ app and coming up with detailed suggestions for improvements. During the call we'll cover an introduction to HQ, your ideas for improvements to the app, and an explanation of your first assignment.
  4. Work on and submit the HQ assignment. This task usually takes two to three hours, and we'll give you access to Github repository you'll be able to fork. Send us a pull request once you're done. If we like it, you move on to the next exciting step!
  5. Join us for another Skype call. This call will be full of pair programming -- some great assignments are waiting for you. If you're in Bangkok, come over and meet the team. In the meantime, we'll prepare an offer for your consideration.
  6. Accept our offer and join the team in Bangkok! Congrats!

Compensation and perks

  • Pizza Fridays -- Everyone at the Bangkok office enjoys an all-you-can-eat pizza lunch on Fridays!
  • Hotel vouchers -- New to Bangkok and need a place to stay? We'll provide you with hotel vouchers for a few days.
  • Relocation -- Do you need to relocate? We might cover some of your expenses such as flight tickets and long-term visas.
  • Home office -- On days when you really need it, you can work from home!
