Project 3: Creating a workflow to detect CNV recurrence
- Background: many cancers are at least partly initiated by somatic copy number alterations. An important aspect of CNV anaysis is determining which events are driving the tumor and which Are just passengers. A major technique to do so is to identify recurrent events in a cohort
- Requirements: bash scripting, nextflow programming (good understanding of practical 1)
- Steps: testing the gistic software, implementing in Nextflow, running on small cohort, analyzing results
- Expected difficulties: coding in Nextflow
