Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
When using the new onboarding UI, it's not possible to make the common progress bar "progress" along with user clicks. For example, if 5 steps are needed to complete a setup, I would like the progress bar to move 20% on each completed step, until it reaches 100% (all complete), so the user has some idea on how many pages they need to progress through.
Describe the solution you'd like
Either for the onboarding UI to have a mode that can be triggered to follow the number of pages in the onboarding that are required and calculate the % to move on each completed page automatically, or, to let us control the movement of the progress bar ourselves by having some way to detect when the button to move to the next page has been clicked.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I tried seeing if the ~/.ibmnotifier/IBM_Notifier_Onboarding.plist could be used for this purpose. It does get updated with information on each page that is completed, but trying to use this in a scripted workflow is not as easy as it might seem. I'm still investigating if this is an option though.
