Is your feature request related to a problem?
For extremely mountainous maps it can be hard to get in contact with dispers units and supporting assets.

Solution you'd like:
A deployable SATCOM antenna would be the solution, its still more cumbersome then a just using a 117f but gives the possibility of Rangers communications when it is needed. Satellite communication is something used by real militaries and the 117f is capable of it, see link. There could also be a CBA setting to set what bering the antenna needs to face for it to work for more realism.

Alternatives you've considered:
IDK maybe a satellite phone instead?

There's already the deployable VHF30108 antenna in the Arsenal.

^ Granted, the whole 2-piece set (if you want the absolute max boost) is about 5.4kg, which is very heavy, but can be hauled in separate pieces in the vest & backpack.

I know about the ground spike but it is till limited range when there is no LOS, a true SATCOM would give it unlimited range.
