Potential new items based on BIDS:

source

In *_eeg.json

In *_coordsystem.json
Information relative to fiducials (maybe not that relevant if is eeg alone): FiducialsDescription, FiducialsCoordinates, etc
Information related to anatomical landmarks: AnatomicalLandmarkCoordinates, etc

In *_events.tsv

  • HED: Hierarchical Event Descriptor (HED) Tag. See Appendix III for details.
  • In object: StimulusPresentation:
  • OperatingSystem: Operating system used to run the stimuli presentation software (for formatting recommendations, see examples below this table).
  • Code: URI of the code used to present the stimuli. Persistent identifiers such as DOIs are preferred. If multiple versions of code may be hosted at the same location, revision-specific URIs are recommended.

There are some certain elements (BIDS keys) should be presented, we might miss it:

  1. InstitutionName (The name of the institution in charge of the equipment that produced the composite instances.) in *_eeg.json;
  2. InstitutionAddress in *_eeg.json

In the “experimental_design_sample” should include “TaskDescription” that will be described in *_eeg.json as well as for “Instructions” in *_eeg.json
