Zima freeze on BIOS after update the OS #146

I'm not sure the exact step where it freezes, but is the second or third time that upgrade the OS and I have to physically shutdown the ZimaBox (in this case, when you press power off, instantly shut downs, so it must be freezed on BIOS screen or even before).

I have no clues on what happens, because no screen is attached, when I attach, nothing is shown until reboot.

Currently is a minor issue, but might be a big one for 100% remote servers.

do you means update zimaos 1.3.1. The OS not boot and freeze in BIOS screen(only motherboard logo)

Yes, I had to reboot it manually. I don't even sure it got to the BIOS/motherboard screen.

Because this is the 3rd time it happened, I'm not sure if it's related to the OS upgrade or the Zima Box.

Sorry, I meant Zima Cube haha

Upgraded to 1.3.1-1, same issue.

No message? Only AMI logo?
Try turning off Zimacube, disconnect charger, remove and put again the cmos battery, connect charger and turn on, see if boot correctelly...

Yes, it works doing this, but it happens on ALL updates, I cannot have this behavior, the machine will be in a difficult access zone, so it's not viable to manually reboot each month twice.
