Request to have Minikube/kubectl installed for CI/CD operations on Zimacube

I would like the ability to leverage K8s functionalities (yaml, helm CRD's, etc) that would allow me to spin up containers by way of a CI/CD deployment mechanism. The current means of leveraging REST endpoints can work, but having Minikube overlaying this would allow for a bit more flexibility in what, and how, I deploy my applications.

If this is not a functionality you are willing to add to this OS, is there a way for me to add this myself on my system, knowing that the OS itself is read-only?
