Idea: In addition to being able to aquire the liquid energy from many sources, the player would also be able to process the fluid into an enhanced form.
This new fluid would yield more energy than the raw fliud and be created in some form of liquid refinery or processing machine. The machine would have a GUI with a slot for a charged liquid energy crystal in its center and around it 4-6 slots for energy crystals to catch up the refined fluid. The output and efficency of the machine would be dependant on the number of crystals put into the GUI to catch the processed fluid as well as their tier and maybe some form of augment system, which would be similar to multiblocks, as in "you have to place a block next to this to give it an improvement in speed, efficiency or energy consumption".
Side note: Obviously the machine needs to consume far less energy than the energy of the processed fluid minus the energy of the raw fluid put into the refining process, to ensure a net gain of energy for this additional step of energy generation.
