Scope GUI will fail when connecting to a serial port. It does not matter what is connected and will fail even if nothing is connected to the USB port. This happens on some PCs and not others.

I was able to fix it by deleting enumser.exe, and replacing usbSerial.tcl from https://www.syscompdesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/CGR101V124-Win.zip into the ScopeGui/TCL directory and recompiling in the WRAP directory.
(The file can be found here:https://www.dropbox.com/s/0x6r3t4dxlvwig4/usbSerial.tcl?dl=0)
(The new ScopeGIU directory, that is compiled correctly can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ls1i8b8bwutk9hy/ScopeGUI.zip?dl=0)
Everything seems to work well now.
