We have a template for this already, let's make it available on the /receipt endpoint.

Any chance of this happening?

Hi Michael, definitely going to happen but no concrete plans at the moment though. What's your use case for receipts?

I'm currently processing payments myself as I receive checks via snailmail. I'd simply like to mark an invoice as paid in part or in full and get a nice simple receipt that i can download and print/email to the customer with amount paid and remaining balance to be paid if any. Nothing complicated or complex at all.

That makes sense. You can use our invoice template for this also. If you pass in the amount_paid parameter we will display the amount paid on the invoice and adjust the balance to reflect the payment. Partial payments are supported as well. Does that help you out?

Same issue here, I'm creating paid invoices but would love to have a receipt template or a way to remove the Balance field as it's not relevant and confuse the user.

What info does everyone need to display on receipts? Thinking about including customer, date, amount, payment method, and invoice # as possible fields. Anything else?

I think that would be a great start, possibly logo too.
