How to add text input widget

I'm trying to create a brightness bar module as a slider. Upon click, I'd like a popup with text input so a user can manually enter a value (bonus points if I can toggle between absolute value and percentage).:

Text input is not currently supported. Feel free to open an issue (or PR) for this.
