This model is trained with economic indicator data from other countries and regions, and recession data of the United States. The US specific recession data is the USREC.csv file. You can create your own Canadian Recession Indicator if you train the data against recession data of Canada, so find data like USREC.csv, but for Canada. I got the US recession data from the National Bureau of Economic Research, so unfortunately it's US specific. You will have to find one for Canada, or you can also create your own recession data by creating a CSV file of the same format as the US one, but change the 0s or 1s for when Canada was in recessions. That's the manual way of doing it, though.

Hope this helps!
