YourMixer Shortcut Windows Bug #18

When I have a certain game open (Brawlhalla, I haven't tested with any other) and click on the YourMixer Shortcut:

It won't do anything
The computer starts to lag
The Windows taskbar stops working
I can't Alt+Tab out or into anything
Most applications on my second screen stop responding.

This has happened a few times, and today I had to restart my PC, because everything stopped responding.
