The easiest way is to add your component to https://github.com/JetBrains/compose-jb/tree/master/components, near SplitPane. We will add it to published components then. |

Hello, I was (very easily) able to fork the project in my personal Github repositories. Then the problems started. Until yesterday evening, I tried in vain to link the build.gradle.kts contained in the components folder to my project in Intellij IDEA. Until last night, every time I tried, it would loop endlessly (I even tried to let it do it all night thinking that it was only a big project and that it was just taking a long time, but without success). Last night, I updated my repository from the official one (to work on an updated version of the project, it still seems better) and I don't know where this problem came from, but it's fixed. This morning I could link the build.gradle.kts to my IDE. But before starting to work on my graphics story, I wanted to test the gradle tasks by making only the few modifications in gradle so that it takes into account my new folder in components (a copy of the SplitPane folder, as you advised me, in which I also modified only the gradle files so that it takes into account the folder I had created and not the SplitPane folder) The kotlin code of the component has not been modified at all. So I go to launch the runDistributable task to test the code I'm going to work from, and it gives me this error :
And indeed, in the build/wixToolset folder, I have a wix311.zip item, but it is a folder that contains a wix311-binaries.zip file and not a zip file. I specify that I deleted the build folder that it created for me in components and that I restarted the gradle task several times to see if it was an intermittent problem. Since it's the downloading and unzipping of the wix utility that seems to be the problem, I also tried to copy the wix311.zip file from another of my Compose Desktop projects into the build/wixToolset folder, but I get this other error when running the unzipWix task:
So I'm again a little bit stuck to start developing my component, and I ask again for your help. |

Hello,
I want to develop an extension for Compose Desktop that I would like to publish on a maven repository so that it can be imported in a Kotlin project, but I don't know where to start...
I would like to create an extension to Compose Desktop that would allow me to make graphics. I already coded (in javascript) something like that which worked quite well (using a canvas). I saw that I could also create a canvas with Compose Desktop, which made me want to try to rewrite my code.
But I don't know how to create my extension and share it on maven... I'm a bit lost. Could you help me?
