Affected Version

yay v12.0.4 - libalpm v13.0.2

Describe the bug

yay shows different behaviour when installing one or multiple packages.

$ yay install python2-setuptools python2-pip
$ echo $?
0
$ yay install python2-setuptools
1 aur/python2-setuptools 2:44.1.1-2 (+17 3.45) (Installed)
    Easily download, build, install, upgrade, and uninstall Python packages
==> Packages to install (eg: 1 2 3, 1-3 or ^4)
==> ^C
$ yay install python2-pip
1 aur/python2-pip 20.3.4-1 (+4 1.74)
    The PyPA recommended tool for installing Python packages
==> Packages to install (eg: 1 2 3, 1-3 or ^4)
==> ^C

Reproduction Steps

  1. yay install <packages>

Expected behavior

I think that the output must be the same for multiple packages or for single packages.

yay --help allows installing several packages at once:

yay {-S --sync}        [options] [package(s)]

Hey @ynikitenko, yay install is not a valid command. yay <targets> is described in the man page but I've gone ahead to specify how search terms are used in #2145
