Unable to get response from route http://localhost:8000/mock as per stated in page "Add your API to Konnect"

Where is the problem?

What happened?

I am using Kong Konnect Web Portal to create a gateway service.
I tried all steps mentioned in the page https://docs.konghq.com/konnect/getting-started/add-api/
I am using WSL ubuntu for creating data plane node.
Unable to access http://localhost:8000/mock as per docs. I am not sure if I am missing anything or there is something missing in docs that I need to do.

What did you expect to happen?

http://localhost:8000/mock should return 200 and return response as per docs.
