You have a PC with Windows 8 with an HDD but Hitomi has problems, and you also have a Windows 11 with an SSD but you don't want to download there because the SSD dies. |

Currently Im using Win 8.1 on WD Blue 7200RPM 1tb drive because i dont like to keep track of write cycles in SSDs, Also WD Blue drive already seems fast enough for me...
I got myself a Silicon Power 128GB SATA SSD for dedicated vm use case of Win 11 Supernova... The OS has already been isolated away from Windows Updates so there is no much write activity being carried out and i am actively trying to avoid writing data whenever i can just to make it last longer.... For Hitomi downloader use case on win 11(as v3.8 stopped working on 8.1), v 4.0 gets the video downloaded without issues but the downloaded videos are being written directly to the C drive which i see it as a problem...
For some reason im afraid to mount my HDDs to vm as i am not sure how effective that would be and i dont want to risk losing data or end up causing file system error, im simply not willing to experiment it....so it would be nice to see v4.1 including google drive support where we can add links, and hitomi will start the video downloads to the google drive account...
i could still use C drive as the ssd is only 128gb ssd, easy to get another one but this request is added to see if there is a possibility to have the ssd life extended as adding the google drive support would help it and be great... thanks
