First, I got an error message similar to that on this thread. When I tried the solution from that tread of adding let g:LatexBox_latexmk_async=1, the error message no longer appeared, but no compilation took place. I also verified the latexmk was properly installed.

I'm using Windows 7 with Strawberry perl installed.

I previously had a problem similar to this. Do you have set shellslash in your .vimrc?
