HTTP manifests cannot be loaded from an HTTPS site

If we create a project using an HTTP manifest URL, when it comes to generating the project the images won't load as our site uses HTTPS and therefore cannot load HTTP resources.

This might need to be a config option to force the loading of external resources over HTTPS.
