Get Started

To run the LinkedList app, you'll need to start both the frontend and backend servers. Follow the instructions below:

Prerequisites

Make sure you have the following software installed on your machine:

  • Node.js (version 12.0.0 or later)

Frontend

  1. Open a terminal or command prompt.

  2. Navigate to the frontend directory:

    cd frontend
  3. Install the required dependencies:

    npm install
  4. Start the frontend development server:

    npm run dev

    This command will start the frontend server using Vite. You should see the development server running and the app opening in your default browser.

Backend

  1. Open a terminal or command prompt.

  2. Navigate to the backend directory:

    cd backend
  3. Install the required dependencies:

    npm install
  4. Start the backend express server:

    npm run dev

    This command will start the backend server using Nodemon. You should see the server running and the message "Server is running on port XXXX" in the terminal.
