A way to hide </think> ?

With all the buzz about DeepSeek r1 and distills for other models using it, would it be within scope to add a way to filter out the </think> sections since it can often be quite long/rambly and not necessarily useful for the end user?

Using that seems to work fine, it identifies and collapses the thinking process as desired!

But I noticed something odd in the currrent KoboldCPP version: when using it with something like DeepSeek-R1-Distill-Qwen-14B-Q6_K I don't seem to get the starting marker <think> at all from bot replies, I only get the closing </think> before it writes down the final answer, no matter what template I use (adventure/instruct/chat). That's why I even worded my title with just the closing tag - I didn't even realize the other one was missing. Is it a known issue? The https://lite.koboldai.net/ ui does display both properly when running the same local model.

Edit: I also noticed in DeepSeek-R1-Distill-Qwen-32B it does skip the first <think> when starting. If you go back and edit the raw text with the <think> the first few times it happens, it generally will "remember" to use it from then on.

I believe it may be something caused by kobold itself, as the exact same prompt worked well with the (i presume newer) ui linked above.

@superskirv you can adjust the regex to use from the Context > Tokens > Reasoning menu
