Beautiful NASA 😄 by Luis David Rodriguez Valades.

Description

This application allows you to HIT 3 API's fournished by NASA, you can retreive information from:

  • Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) One of the most popular websites at NASA is the Astronomy Picture of the Day. In fact, this website is one of the most popular websites across all federal agencies. It has the popular appeal of a Justin Bieber video.

  • Mars Rover Photos This API is designed to collect image data gathered by NASA's Curiosity, Opportunity, and Spirit rovers on Mars and make it more easily available to other developers, educators, and citizen scientists. This API is maintained by Chris Cerami.

  • NASA Image and Video Library The NASA images and media API is organized around REST, You can see and retreive all the media pictures that NASA deliver us.

Getting Started

Setup

If you installed git you can clone the code to your machine, or download a ZIP of all the files directly.

  • Clone the repo
  • cd into the project directory
  • npm install
  • npm start (to start/run the project)

Download the ZIP from this location, or run the following git command to clone the files to your machine:

git clone git@github.com:LuisDavidRodriguez/capstone3-beautiful-nasa.git
  • Once the files are on your machine, open the Portfolio folder in Visual Studio Code

  • With the files open in Visual Studio Code, press the Go Live button at the bottom of the window to launch the files with Live Server.
