There are some print functions without brackets. I did not browse for other transition (python2 -> python 3) issues.

The core of pymlab should be python3 compatible since it is micropython enabled. I found problems in the HIDDriver caused by differences in hidapi for py3 and py2. I presume, that we want to support both versions of python? At least for now?

Yes, we need to support the both Python 2 and Python 3.

The current note update is, that we do not actually need python2 support. Therefore Python 2 compatibility could be thrown out.

I think it's mostly solved (especially in pymlab core functions). Maybe there are some partial incompatibilities in own drivers.
