CMAKE errors

Hello! On Ubuntu 16.04, 64-bit, "cmake .." fails with the following:

CMake Error: Could not find cmake module file: CMakePortable Version of the MOVE-II groundstationInformation.cmake
CMake Error: CMAKE_DESCRIPTION_COMPILER not set, after EnableLanguage
CMake Error: CMAKE_Portable Version of the MOVE-II groundstation_COMPILER not set, after EnableLanguage
-- Configuring incomplete, errors occurred!

... could you please advise if specific versions of gcc, etc., are required. Also please advise what other software might be required that a system might not have by default. I have used CMAKE to build numerous other projects without issue.
