Battery indicates 1%

Thank you for a very nice build!
After few days, the only problem I ran into is the battery indicator. It is indicating when plugged in, however the current capacity is always 1%. It lasts about more than three hours on battery, but I am getting low battery notifications every few minutes. Also, when I unplug the rear 3 cell battery, the computer turns off, instead of running on the internal battery.
Could someone please help me with this?
