I don't believe that below instructed step: Add the original repository as a remote called "upstream" is mandatory required, it depends on user who forks the code-base to keep their own name for created repository.And, with your steps you were instructed to keep it as "origin", could you please elaborate the need of changing the name of code-base from which user has forked as "upstream"?
