Hello.
It would be nice if the messages "You Owe" and "You Lent" changed to something more descriptive.

For us from non-native english speaking countries yhe words can be difficoult to differentiate when translating to our languages.

A suggestion would br something like:
"You have lent", "You are owed", " Owes you" or something like this.

Do I understand you correctly that you need clarification when translating? Like some hint on weblate? Or are you using the app in English and are struggling with the terms there?
