Why do you need spigot support?
Not only for spigot, but also for cores that don't have a paper api such as https://github.com/IzzelAliz/Arclight.

I'd like this but this is a lib mainly for personal use, and I only really use paper/forks of paper.

Likely do not have the time or enough interest to implement but feel free to have a go :)
