I confirm that I checked the issues tab and couldn't find an existing issue with a request for the feature I want to requst.

Hi,
I was wondering if it would be possible to report the source file's framerate in the output filename?
Makes it a whole lot easier for synching if there's no need to guess what the FPS is!
Many thanks

Hey, thanks for the suggestion.
This should be possible, as the M3U8 playlist does seem to include FPS data for video streams, and I suppose it is useful for syncing purposes.
I'll have to look into it further and confirm the FPS from there doesn't raise any issues.
If I do implement it, it'll probably be printed metadata after running the command and scraping the data, instead of adding it in filenames.
I'm also currently finishing up a big refactor to most of the code (mostly backend-ish stuff), so it could take some time.
Confirmations
