It would be nice to have a notification system when a new file/folder is created. I dont think many of the popular file share services support a push notification for new files/folders through an API. Are there any plans to implement such a feature.
To start with, registering a callback url/port and making a call at the time the new file is created should be good enough. With the current set of APIs, the clients should be able to pull the information about the new file but whats missing now (with Minus and many other services) is a way for the client to know when to get new information. Polling from the client would be a waste of resources.
Thanks
Raja
