Dryland Productivity

Highlighting this Nature Climate Change paper on dryland productivity under a changing climate. There is a nice discussion of the complexity of water-productivity relationships in drylands globally, the challenges to capturing things influencing drylands (such as fog and dew), as well as bistability and desertification in these systems in part due to plant response. The authors highlight key uncertainties and identify priorities.
