The issue appears to affect testing on Rocky Linux 8:

Error: Failed instance creation: Failed getting remote image info: Failed getting image: The requested image couldn't be found for fingerprint "rockylinux/8/cloud"

The issue is likely caused by the phased shutdown of the linuxcontainers.org image service:

2024-04-15: All LXD LTS users will be restricted to Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS and Alpine images
2024-05-01: All LXD users will lose access

The solution is to migrate to Incus, the community fork of LXD:
