Sorry, having problems using the AWS visual editors to create the execution role.

Do you have an example?

My source bucket is docxsource, and write bucket is docxtarget

You could start by creating a role in IAM with the policies AmazonS3FullAccess and CloudWatchLogsFullAccess.

Once you know this works, you could limit the S3 access to specific buckets. I tend to use the JSON view to set what I want.
