I run both Collabora and Onlyoffice which had worked fine because I set Onlyoffice to only handle specific file types, ie. docx etc.
Today I upgraded to nextcloud 24.02 and now when I click on a .docx file it opens in Collabora which it never did before the upgrade.
If I right click on a docx file and select "Open in OnlyOffice" then it will correctly open in OnlyOffice.

I reported this to to nextcloud here and they advised me to report to onlyoffice.

Can anyone help?

Further to my initial report I have discovered its impossible to create a new docx file, since clicking the + and selecting "New document.docx" actually creates and opens the docx file in Collabora.

I had this problem and comes from Collabora last versions.
you have to edit en apps/richdocuments/lib/Capabilities.php to remove Microsoft formats.
